Mr P Ganev

was helping to carry a metal framework on a construction site. In the process, his right foot became trapped, causing his kneecap to become dislocated.

was washing the wheel of a car on a temporarily stationary conveyor line. Without warning, a co-worker re-started the conveyor, causing a hand injury.

was working at a block of flats under construction in London. A Bulgarian co-worker dropped a sheet of plywood that struck the client, breaking his left thumb.

was helping to lever a 2 ton pump off the ground, to allow the forks of a forklift to be slid in underneath. In the process, the lever swung up suddenly, striking him on the jaw.

was was fetching his jacket and tools from a darkened room, at a block of flats under construction in London. In the process, he fell down an unguarded hole.

Mr A Vaduva

was operating a trolley on sloping rails, controlled by an electric winch. Without warning, the trolley suddenly ran to the bottom of the slope, striking his knee.

was working in a masonry yard in North London, when he was crushed by some marble slabs. As a result, he suffered a chest injury and a psychological injury.

was pushing a small trolley, containing large plasterboards on the 13th floor of new block of flats in Croydon. The wind blew the trolley over, fracturing two bones in his foot.

was helping a colleague to connect a concrete skip to its base. In the process, the colleague suddenly dropped his side of the skip, causing the client to suffer a back injury.

was removing the canvas cover of a large rubbish container on a lorry. Without warning, his supervisor reversed an excavator into him, causing multiple pelvis fractures.

slipped and fell, in the entrance of a supermarket in Southampton. The tiled floor was wet from rain, but there were no warning signs. As result he suffered a knee injury.

was drilling holes in a concrete wall, above head height. There was nothing to stand on, and the drill bit was too long. As a result the drill “jumped”, breaking his left thumb.
